The results of weight loss are easy to maintain in the long term if the patient agrees to change their lifestyle for a healthier one and to follow the indications provided by the surgeon.
The time is variable and it is according to the characteristics of each patient, however, in general the patient experiences a gradual weight loss in a period of 12 to 18 months after the surgery.
The patient can lose 70% to 100% of their overweight.
This surgery is a major surgery and requires a minimum time for recovery. For office or desk job it is advised to take at least one or two weeks to rest at home.
